<< BackA Dance With Doris Day
Thank you to Bob Younger '46 for sharing this great memory.
He writes, "It must have been around Christmas, 1945. Les Brown and his band of renown, with Doris Day as the singer, were performing for a dance at Tech. One of the Kappa Sigs knew that Les Brown was also a Kappa Sig and invited Les and his band to the fraternity house after the dance. The band and Doris arrived, and from somewhere underground some liquor was produced. As background, recorded music was played. I believe every one of us danced with Doris that night. I would guess she was about 19 at that time, and as always, very pretty."
